After reading this blog post about MSN’s latest search engine algo roll-out I’ve got the feeling their engineers are probably working overtime right now. Their engineering team are probably wearing frowns while the SEO team at Cars.com have got big grins instead. Although sadly for the Cars team it probably won’t last. Enjoy it for

Not the biggest news in the search-o-sphere but it’s still a step toward search engines really going mobile: Vodafone is about to get Google search capabilities on its 3G mobile phone. Will be interesting to see how user friendly the device+search will be.

It is a data finding from the USA market, not Australia, but a new Nielsen/Netratings report has confirmed that American search engine usage is growing faster than the overall consumer usage of the internet.
Why is that significant? It means that consumers are becoming more reliant on search engines to do everyday research than ever before.

OK, so they’d probably call it a business partnership (not what I’ve entitled this post :)) but Google has teamed up with BearingPoint to provide Google-esque search services to mega-corporates in the aerospace, finance and tech industries.
Does this mean BearingPoint is going to provide Adwords management or SEO services? Not quite. From what I have
