Google’s market share continues to rise

Will this ever stop? The latest figures out in the USA show that Google’s share of the search engine marketing continues to grow at the expense of its main competitors, Yahoo & MSN. The figures are not Australian (Google’s local market share is probably even bigger than in the USA) but they do point to a global trend of Google’s further monopolising of the search market.

Furthermore, some analysts are predicting continued big gains for Google in the USA. All this comes in the face of increasingly fierce competition and talk from Microsoft that it is closing the gap on Google. Time will tell.
