I certainly wouldn’t have thought snack foods were one of the leading categories. But then again, after seeing this “Sponsored link” ad alongside a message in my Gmail account, I could be wrong. It’s Adwords for Cheese Rings. Hope they get some extra traffic from this post

The city of San Francisco has signed a landmark deal to provide free wireless broadband access to its residents. Under the deal, which is provided via Google and ISP provider Earthlink, San Francisco residents will have access to a free, but ad-supported, wireless broadband service. … I thought I’d also give this site a quick shout-out: Squidoo.com. It’s a little bit like a fan site: you choose your topic of interest (eg, scuba diving), then add links to sites that you think other people interested in your topic would like. It’s a little like the link directory style of site

I like simple software. The easier to use, the better. That’s why I’ll give this happy little photo-sharing site a bit of link-love. It isn’t huge like Flickr or Picasa. Instead it’s just a small free service with nice photos to boot. Congrats to those who put it together.
