Aaron Wall of “SEO Book” fame, has a great blog post about all three major search engines (Google, Yahoo! and MSN) updating their algorithms to a certain extent.
The biggest and quite significant change I’ve seen here in Australia is to MSN/Live. One of our clients has increased his visibility by 20 percent in one month!!!

November remains the month to be seen online if you’re interested in attracting Christmas related purchases. This is the verdict from Nielsen//NetRatings, who reported that the average Australian Internet shopper spent AUD $471 online in November 2005. This represented a spend increase on the Christmas 2004 online shopping season.

A really interesting document arrived via email today. Someone was kind enough to send me an excel sheet that contains the total number of searches on Australia’s largest directory for the top 2500 search terms for Australia from ’99-’04 !!
I was surprised to find ‘restaurants’ in #1 position for the each year, a clear leader
