In order to allow tiny, localised businesses to enter the world of SEM more easily, Google has released a new Adwords product, Adwords Starter. The new product is a pared-back version of standard Adwords, with far fewer advertising and targeting features.

Australia’s big classified ads providers may like to take note of a recent Adwords reseller deal struck by the USA’s Verizon SuperPages.com and Google. Here’s an article detailing the deal. What is more interesting to me personally is whether any Big Classifieds firms follow suit here in Australia.

According to a Times Online article, Wall St analysts are growing weary of Google’s “we don’t do forecasts” policy.
An analyst from RBC Capital Markets sparked a reaction when he gave a golden quote to a business reporter that “Issuing guidance is not ‘evil”” (referring to Google’s famed “Don’t be evil” mantra). When Google initially went
