… I thought I’d also give this site a quick shout-out: Squidoo.com. It’s a little bit like a fan site: you choose your topic of interest (eg, scuba diving), then add links to sites that you think other people interested in your topic would like. It’s a little like the link directory style of site

I like simple software. The easier to use, the better. That’s why I’ll give this happy little photo-sharing site a bit of link-love. It isn’t huge like Flickr or Picasa. Instead it’s just a small free service with nice photos to boot. Congrats to those who put it together.

Over the past few years, the term ‘geek’ has changed. It’s no longer a term reserved for insults, but used to express someone who’s an uber-techie (and they’re usually very proud of the tag). Personally I think the term is over-used. Knowing how to configure an internet connection does not a ‘geek” maketh. However the

I know it’s a year old but it’s still as beautiful as ever: Vincent Flanders’ Biggest Website Design Mistakes of 2004 article.
