As reported by Clickz.com last week , Yahoo Search Marketing in the USA will soon change its trademark bidding rules to prevent advertisers from “keyword squatting” on their competitors’ brands (some people may know the practice better as “drafting” or “hijacking”. Yahoo’s Chief Financial Officer Susan Decker has admitted that Yahoo does not have aspirations to dominate Google in the field of search. Bloomberg News has reported that Decker said that Yahoo would “be very happy to maintain our market share”.
